Error Nuker is quite a basics registry cleaner, with very few additional features. If you’re looking for more functionality, then this may not be the program for you. If you’re looking for something simple and intuitive, that isn’t full of additional features - then Error Nuker may be the best registry cleaner for you. It comes with the usual basic features such as a Scheduler, registry back-up facility, and custom scans.

Backups are created each time you fix the problems that come up. Changes are stored efficiently under the ‘Restore’ section of the software. Re-doing what you’ve deleted / cleaned is a simple process of choosing a set of changes from the list and hitting ‘Undo’. No sweat.

The initial registry & system scan was definitely comprehensive, although it took a few seconds longer than many of the other solutions we’ve tested - and this might actually be a good thing (hey, what’s a few seconds if it does a good job - right?).

Error Nuker was very thorough in its search within the registry, the PC’s hard-drive and other system attributes (such as fonts, startup processes, driver associations, DLL references) and so on.

Our test computer seemed faster after using Error Nuker, quite noticably so on the Windows startup routine. Additionally, many of the error messages & warnings/notifications disappeared altogether, which was definitely a positive indication that Error Nuker had, indeed, nuked some errors!.

This tool’s easy to use. While not as much of a “hand-holding” experience as we’ve had with other products on the market, Error Nuker is very straight-forward and easy to use in general. Right from the first scan to scheduling future registry scanning/repair/optimization sessions, it’s certainly not hard to do or execute - even for beginner computer users. It runs quickly too.

Error Nuker offers online support through a ticket-based helpdesk system. Technical support is offered for customers with a registered full version.

Most software has a ‘help’ link somewhere in it, or within one of the menus. We couldn’t find the help files after I’d installed Error Nuker. This was a problem because there were a couple of things we wanted to look up. Support for Error Nuker consists of a simple webpage which acts as a “table of contents” for each feature of Error Nuker.
